The purpose of the project was to create a standard course aimed at undergraduate students of all majors, which will follow an innovative teaching-learning format based mainly on thematic and interdisciplinary field trips.
The goal is to recover the urban memory of each UC campus in relation to the emblematic landscape projects that have defined their location and urban condition, or as a result of projects shaping an urban ecosystem around them, or on the campuses themselves. As a result, the project seeks to awaken in students an interest in reflecting about their daily changing and dynamic environment.
Consequently, the idea of landscape is approached not only as green infrastructure, but as a complex entity in which natural systems, citizen expectations, design proposals and socio-cultural processes intersect, allowing (or not) their resilience in the face of climate change scenarios and historical-cultural transformation of society.
