This research proposes to reread the modern discourse in Chile through the work of the women architects of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile’s School of Architecture to establish points of convergence and divergence between them, their peers and their extended cultural context.

The goal is to contribute to the construction of a history of women’s participation in the discipline during the twentieth century, in order to take a new step towards the development of a fair criticism of their work.
